Florida Tint Laws
WINDSHIELD
No tint permitted on windshields in Florida. Medical exemptions require documentation from a dermatologist or optometrist.
FRONT WINDOWS
Must allow 28% or more light transmission (28% VLT minimum).
REAR WINDOWS
Any darkness permitted on rear side and rear windows.
How Dark Is Dark?
⚠ The #1 complaint: not going dark enough. This is the Sunshine State — go darker than you think.
3-Day Curing Period
Do not roll your windows down for 3 full days after installation. Slight haziness immediately after install is normal — it clears completely as the film cures and bonds.
